Loxone’s Biggest Weakness

Ever since I started installing Loxone systems I’ve found the biggest weakness is control of multimedia, to say its basic is an understatement.

The Loxone media server looks great on paper and Loxone are keen to sell it as part of the complete solution, but from what I’ve heard from other integrators its not a great product. In fact of late I’ve been on a few courses where people have offered me them cheap just to get rid of them!

I’m working on a home cinema system for a customer at the moment and have been looking at “universal remotes” that I can integrate with Loxone.

In the coming weeks I’ll be looking at Elan, Logitech Harmony and URC.
