Disaster!!

This is what happens when you put 24 volts through the inputs rather than the outputs on a mini-server:

Setting up the IR modules for the TV and sky box, we made the mistake of connecting the wrong 24 volt connections, resulting in the above and a very unpleasant burning smell emanating from the mini-server.

To make things worse, we did this twice, once on the production mini-server and again on the testing unit i have… Doh!!

A quick trip over to Loxone head office, a couple of replacement mini-servers, and a thorough re-read of the instructions and we were working again.
